Still Here

Hey guys!

I just wanted to do a quick update and let you all know we're still around.  We've just been busy as hell working on EAT, full time.  We've got a lot of cool stuff coming soon and by soon, I mean in the coming weeks.  So stay tuned.

If you haven't already, be sure to check out EatTheMovie.com for up to date information (and pictures!) of the movie.  That's where the banner image came from.  I'm trying to put stuff up there every couple days.  So yeah.  Or you could just follw @EatTheMovie on Twitter or us on Facebook.com/PrettyPeoplePictures.

Cool.  Talk soon!

EAT - Teaser Poster

Well, we're all done filming EAT and I can already tell you this movie is going to be everything we were hoping it would be.  The cinematography is beautiful, the gore effects are gruesome, but most off all, Meggie Maddock delivers one hell of a breakout performance.  We're gonna go on vacation for a couple weeks, then when we get home, we're gonna cut this baby together.  But I don't want to leave you hanging, so in the mean time, here's a poster to hold you over.

4 Years Old!

Four years ago I started a production company with Annie Baker and we had a simple goal: Make genre films that are fun to watch.  I also didn't want there to be any stress.  We were going to have fun making these movies with our friends and make some new friends while we were at it.  Four years later, I couldn't be happier with what Annie and I have created.  Our goal is still in tact and because of it, we've had a lot of fun and couldn't be more proud.

It's hard to believe it's already been four years, but in that time I think we've remained pretty busy.  We've produced nine short films.  We've been accpeted to six international films festivals (and counting) and we've been nominated for ten awards and won two of them.  I'd say that's a pretty good start.

But that's all it has been - the start.  I've recently finished writing our first feature screenplay and we're looking forward to the journey of making a feature film.  It's a long, dark, road ahead of us but we're not worried.  We're going to have a lot of fun and make some new friends.  That's always been our goal and it always will be.

Thank you for supporting us these past four years.  We've had such a great time and I hope you have to.

You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Horrorfest

Denver, Colorado is host to a great Science Fiction and Fantasy convention called Starfest.  A few years ago they started incorporating Horror films into the mix and called it Horrorfest.  We've had some films play there in the past and this year INCUBATOR screened as well.  We weren't able to make it down, but it's good to know it played for some horror fans.  If you were there, please leave a comment or send me an email and let me know what you thought and how it played.

Pittsburgh Horror Film Festival

More good news everyone!  Incubator has been accepted to the Pittsburgh Horror Film Festival.  This is very exciting and I can't wait to check out the Steel City (that's what it's called, right?).  What I'm really excited for is William Forsythe is going to be there.  He's one of my favorite actors so hopefully I can shake his hand and thank him for being a total bad ass.  Be sure to check out more information on this festival by visiting www.PittsburghHorrorFilms.com
