Inside Denver

On Wednesday I will be participating with the #InsideDenver twitter chat.  We will be discussing all things related to the Starz Denver Film Festival as well as making movies in Colorado, in general.  It should be a fun event.  While you have to be in Denver to attend the screenings of EAT on November 15th and 16th, everyone with Twitter will be able to participate this Wednesday.  So click on the image above and get all the details.  Should be a good time!

And just a reminder...be sure to get your tickets for EAT at the Starz Denver Film Festival soon.  Word on the street is they will sell out.

Gore!

So this is going to be fun! CU Denver Live is hosting an event where they will be showing some of my short films the night before Halloween.

We'll be showing The Gatekeeper, Below The Basement, The House in Windsor, Incubator and a special little preview from a feature film I recently finished.

Annie and I will both be there and we'll have a Q&A afterwards talking about how we made all these movies for the combined budget of $60 and how Incubator is based on the true story of my 21st birthday!

For more information visit www.CUDenverLive.com.  The event is free and open to the public so come one, come all!

Podcast Alert

Hey folks!  I just wanted to let you know I'm going to be on the West X Midwest podcast Monday 8/26.  That's next Monday!  I'm going to be talking about EAT and some really cool INCUBATOR news I have yet to post on this here website.  For all the information on how you can listen to it live as well as on your iPod/iPhone long after its been recorded, check out the West X Midwest Facebook Page.  I'm pretty stoked.  I've listened to about 2,700 hours of podcasts the past few months in post-production on EAT, so it's time to pay it forward.

Sorry for the lack of updates.  Just so you know, EAT is almost done.  Things are looking amazing and we are VERY excited.  As I always say, the fewer the updates on this website, the more we're working.  So check out the podcast because I'm sure I'll reveal a bunch of information I probably shouldn't.

Eat Trailer

Here it is!

The teaser trailer for our first feature film EAT!  We're so proud of this film and know you're going to love it.  We're still in the bowels of post production, but wanted to give you a little taste of what's to come.  So check it out, spread it around and get excited!

Novella McClure is like most struggling actresses in Los Angeles: she's in her early 30s, her fake name sounded cooler ten years ago, and she hasn't landed a role in three years. To top it all off, she’s developed a disturbing habit of eating her own flesh. Novella desperately tries to hide her strange condition from her motherly landlord, Eesha, and somewhat psychopathic best friend, Candice, but her body and mind continue to deteriorate in the depressing world of failed auditions and sketchy night clubs. Can a romantic relationship with her psychiatrist prevent her from self destruction? Or will her fatal habit continue to eat away at her?

Written and directed by Jimmy Weber. Produced by Annie Baker. Starring Meggie Maddock, Ali Frances, Jeremy Make, Maru Garcia and Dakota Pike.
